Show on Thursday, May 10

I just want to thank everyone who listened to the show tonight. My show tonight consisted of guitarist who I believe came out with their own sound and made us stand up and listen to their music. Although my show was based on this, there are so many great bands and musicians out there that there is no way I could get to all of them.

I paid particular attention to Joe Bonamassa. His father handed him a guitar at 4 years of age and he said he would sit by the record player and imitate the songs that he heard. He start performing at age 7 and when he was 12 B.B. King asked him to open for him. I am thinking, Oh My God, a 12 year old opening for B.B. King? But if you listen to him, his music and his voice is that of a seasoned artist. B.B. King stated that Joe "had not even begun to scratch the surface of his talent."

I saw Joe Bonamassa when he opened for Peter Frampton and after seeing him play, if I hadn't been able to see Peter Frampton, I would have been happy with the concert that I saw.

I hope you enjoyed the show and until Saturday, this is the Hippie Chick. A word to you all. Remember: All Men Die, But Not Evey Man Really Lives. Let that be your motto for tomorrow and go out there and live!
